Album covers are a little outdated, but even in the era of digital downloads, that visual indication of what you’re about to hear is part of the experience. I designed the covers and band pages for both a community-driven project that donates to a music-based charity and my own page.

Magazine ads for a local trivia team. The ads were designed to match the ever changing theme of the annual contest.

T-shirt designs, created to work with a limited (or nonexistent) color palette. In order of appearance: A local runners’ group, with cartoon versions of each member, two different designs based on Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files book series, one very busy text tee following the concept of the author, and a logo for a fictional book shop in Kevin Hearne’s Iron Druid Chronicles. The authors all had final approval.

Logo design for an online shop specializing in repurposing leather horse tack and pet collars/harnesses into wearable accessories. They wanted a black and white store logo and a simplified, initials-only version of the store name to use for a stamp.

Logo design for a family-owned pasta company. Their pasta-specific logo has tagliatelle flourishes on either side while the standard version is more straightforward.

Product design for manufacture. The plushies were especially fun, and as a backpack enthusiast, it was great to have the opportunity to design one.

Pages from an online magazine I designed to feature stories, updates, and charity auctions during a two-week fundraiser. They had live links and a couple featured embedded videos. Photos and video from Malawi were shot and edited by me, and I also supplied a few spot illustrations for short stories that were contributed by fantasy authors. Interactive versions are archived on the company’s website.

I also have designed sales one-sheet, company handbooks, employee benefit guides, and other booklets, educational materials, etc. These are internal documents that I can’t post here.
